At the foot of Faedis Castle in the heart of the eastern hills of Friuli, you will find the Valnascosta B&B.

The old mansion is located in the historic village of Faedis, which was completely renovated in 2014 to offer the maximum comfort to its guests, while keeping intact the unique atmosphere of the past. Original stone columns, gates and windows have been restored and the ceilings with exposed beams give guests the impression of living in a different era but with all the comforts of today.

What to visit

Valnascosta boasts a central position in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It offers you the chance to enjoy the food and wine excellences of the Colli Orientali del Friuli but not only! It will allow you to quickly reach some of the most important destinations in Italy, Slovenia and Austria!

The So??a Valley in Slovenia for example, with Tolmino, Caporetto and Plezzo!

Venice just over 1 hour connected by numerous trains departing from the beautiful Udine.

Trieste with the splendid Miramare Castle and not far from Lipica, famous for its riding stables.

Do not forget the Friulian Dolomites Park and the numerous routes in the Valle del Torre and Natisone on the traces of the Great War. Not far away Austria, with Villach, Velden and Klagenfurt overlook the beautiful Wörther See lake!
